Friday 27/4/07: Not much happened today, its been fairly quite. "?" came in for a few hours and left and i got on with a couple of things, had dinner then went online. Later, "?" returned for half hour then left, then i had my tea then settled to watch TV and an early

Saturday 28/4/07: This morning when "?" came in, he took me to get a few bits and pieces for the weekend, then we went to pick-up "ST" for the weekend stay over.

"ST" went online to play his Runescape game once we had eaten our snacks and a chat, then a little later i got on with a couple of things while dinner was on the go.

Today "?" is looking really down in himself. He did'nt place any bets on the horses today like he normally does, which is most un-usual for him, he just rested and watched TV. He never usually misses placing his bets on a Saturday.

After dinner, "ST" went back on the computer and i settled to watch a DVD film ICON in my room which i was disappointed in, because i did'nt get the follow up DVD from the paper the following week. I was just getting into it when it said to be continued....what a swiss that was!!!

Later, when "?" had left, "ST" carried on with the comp and i made our tea ready for when Dr.Who came on and we settled in the lounge to watch it. Then, "ST" went back on line and i went to watch TV in bed.

Sunday 29/4/07: This morning "?" came in for half hour and left. I got dinner on the go and done a couple of light chores and i made sure i did'nt over do it like last week. "ST" went to play his X-Box game.

After dinner, "ST"went back on the X-Box and i went online. AOL downloaded some up-dates to my computer and everything seems to be working ok and running more smoothly and guess what!!! i can now copy and paste again like before and add graphics in HTML format which i could'nt do for a while. so, with a bit of luck things are back to normal and i am well pleased with that...i wonder if i can get my music back on here again!!!

A little later, i went over to Astra's Space my other blog on spaces. and added a few things and customised it.

"ST" and i had a peaceful pleasant day doing our own thing. "?" returned 5:15pm. we took "ST" home. When we got there "L" was painting the hallway. I do like her colour scheme. She has painted the top wallpaper cream and the bottom a dark beige/brown colour which has a dado rail to seperate, it looks very effective.

 

On our return, we had a cuppa, then "?" left and i came online...Well, thats all for now and i'm off to read a few journals, so have a good week each and everyone of you...Best wishes!

Tuesday 24/4/07:

I got a letter from BT today. Iwill be able to use my landline phone to ring out from 4/5/07. mind you i hav'nt really missed it, i only use my phone only if i have too or emergencies.

"?" had chest pains last night, like myself, he has also got a Hiatus Hernia. The trouble is it can easily be mistaken for a heart attack when these pains come on and "?" has got Heart Disease, so it is very worrying for him. With Heart Attack's, the pains are consistant which can be mild or severe, where as Hiatus Hernia  pains contract and ease off and radiates. I would describe it like labour contraction's as in child birth...

Today, i've been looking at short break Holidays at Gt.Yarmouth, hopefully around June which looks very expensive to me. I will have another look and ring around when my phone is back to normal.

Wednesday 25/4/07:

When "?" came in he took me to the shop, when i returned, i got s few light chores done and after dinner, i went online to to try my earphones out. It seems that i can hear people, but no-one can hear me ( good thing aye...lol ) I will try another time.

Thursday 26/4/07:

When "?" came in he took me to our local Wilkinsons store so i could get a few bits that i needed. Later, when "?" left i went online to try to sort my earphones out...still the same!

Fruadulent Emails

This week i did'nt know weather i was coming or going half the time with aches and pains and "?" has had his fair share and more...

Monday 16/4/07. "A" and "L" came round with "J" and baby "D" who is "L" niece, she is 6mths old, she is so sweet. "L" left her with me for half hour while she went to the P/O and "D" cried all the time (she did'nt know me) untill "L" returned.

Later, i tried to post an entry, but when i tried to save it, i got cut off and just left it as i got frustrated over it.

Tuesday 17/4/07. When "?" came in, "T" next door knocked to ask "?" to take a look at his lawnmower as he was having probs with it. During the day "?" felt genuinely ill and fatigued and had to rest.

Wednesday 18/4/07. I was awake most of the night with cramps in my hands and feet.

Late morning, "?" took me to get some shopping. The Hole-in-the-wall machine was'nt working and i had to go else where to get my money before i could get any shopping.

I did'nt do much else today as my wrists and ankles were weak and kept drooping.

Thursday 19/4/07. "?" was'nt too well in himself when he came in this morning and he just rested most of the day. "A" dropped by to pick-up a few things he had left here a couple of days ago.

Friday 20/4/07. I got probs with my phone and can't ring out,but i am getting incoming calls. I am using my mobile to ring out.

I phoned aunt "D" from my mobile and asked her to ring my landline as she gets free calls evenings and weekends. When she rang me she told me that she had her results from the hospital and she is in the clear from cancer, but she has got stones in one of her kidney's and is waiting to find out what the hospital are going to do for her.

Saturday 21/4/07. "?" took me get afew things in for the weekend as "ST" and "Z" are staying over. Then we went to pick them bothup and brought them home. Once indoors they both went out the garden for a while, then "ST" went on the comuter, "Z" and i went to sit out the garden in the sun and coloured books while dinner was cooking and "?" was in the lounge watching TV.

Later, once "?" had left we settled to watch TV and had a picnic in the lounge ( there was a cover on the floor where "ST" and "Z" sat) we had sandwhiches and our drinks while we watched Dr. Who. Then we played bingo and cards.

Sunday 22/4/07. "?" came in and out again and "ST" and "Z" played in the garden while i got dinner on the go and a couple of chores done that i had neglected all week. I think i over done it again, because my Hiatus Hernia played up again and i felt stressed out.

"A" came to pick "ST" up around 3pm and i asked him to take "Z" home too as she only lives a few doors away from him. Then i sat down to rest with a hot water bottle on my chest and stomache to ease the pains as they kept coming back and subsiding. "?" came in around 5:15pm and left a 6:30pm and i went off to bed to watch TV and rest properly.

Monday 23/4/07. In the week i found an email which i thought was from my bank. It was suspicious, so i rang my bank, because i should'nt have received an email at my AOL address, i have never used this particular email address for anything official and it asked for my details and said i had passed and can have a credit card which i have never asked for. I WOULD NEVER GIVE MY DETAILS TO ANYONE.

In the week i posted a couple of entries on Astra's Space which you will find on my side bar. I have posted a photo of me wearing my cardi (not a good pic of me i'm afraid). Also, i have copied a few things from astras choice as i could'nt get into that blog anymore and will update on those from time to time.

yippeee!!! GOT IT SUSSED.

yippee!!! i've got it sussed.  

I was messing about on my private journal to see if i could add pics and i kept getting cut off and had to sign on again, this happened twice this evening, then i tried a different way and found it worked, but i think i can only add one pic on one entry, but i will try to see if i can add more another time. I feel pleased with myself that i have achieved this.

What i done was...upload to photobucket, copy URL LINK. opened up add entry in my journal, click where you want pic then click camera icon top right. a warning sign will appear, click where it says click here, then top left in the box it will have htt:// wipe that out and paste in your copy and save. your pic should appear in your journal.

Grand National and Birthday News...

Friday 13/4/07.

This morning "?" came in early about 8:30am. After i got a couple of things done indoors that needed doing i made a few phone calls that took up most of the morning ( waiting mostly to talk to someone ) Then i wrote a couple of letters and got them posted.

After posting the letters "?" took me to the shop where we bumped into my sister-in-law "C" we stopped to talk to her for  a while as we had'nt seen her for a year ( "C" is "?" youngest sister ) she has'nt changed one bit, shes still scatty as ever...lol. ( in a nice way )

When we came home "?" and i had dinner then "?" left and i settled to watch some TV and knit one of my borders for my cardi.

When "?" returned about 7pm. we went to pick "ST" up as he was staying over, because we all are going into Barking Saturday morning early. I will spend the money "?" gave me for my birthday and "ST" wanted to spend some of the money he had saved.

"?" left about 8:30pm, "ST" went to his room to play his X-Box and i settled to watch TV in the lounge, then i decided to go and watch watch "Independance Day" in bed.

Saturday 14/4/07.

This morning when "?" came in at 7:45am. We left "ST" in bed and "?" took me to the shop to get a few bits for the weekend, we got there as the doors were opening. When we returned i shouted up to "ST" to get ready as we were leaving for Barking at 9am.

We all went to the cafe for our breakfast, then went shopping for our goods. I bought...shoes, earpnones for my computer and a DVD "Night at the Museum" and "ST" bought 2 games for his X-Box out of the money he had saved himself. We arrived home at 11:30am.

Then a little later we left "ST" at home while we went to place our bets for The Grand National. I had Jacks High which fell at the second fence, "?" horse fell at the first fence don't know what the name is though and "ST" horse came 9th, i think it was favourite. Then i went along to pick up a prescription and put our lottery on, i had no luck there either "?" won £10.

When we got home, i got dinner on. After dinner, "ST" went off to play his new games, "?" watched the horse racing and i went to watch my new DVD film, when that ended i was in time to watch The Grand National. A little later we took "ST" home and i settled to watch TV for the night.

As for my cardi, i'm having probs with lining up the buttons. You would think it would be easy would'nt you. No not for me, i'm useless at lining things up. I will do it tomorrow as that bit is doing my head in.

Sunday 15/4/07.

Well, i did'nt go out today after all. Last Thursday was my day out instead. But, i did have a nice quite day on my own doing my own thing. I got a couple of light chores done, had my dinner and spent sometime online trying to suss out U TUBE as i could'nt add it to "Astras Space".

I have started to add a couple of short vids using U TUBE on to my space, but i hav'nt posted them as yet i hav'nt finished what i was doing.When they are posted i will let you know. They are only short and experimental really, nothing special.

I have added some pics of my birthday cards and the pressies i got with the money "?" had given me which i still have some money left over and a pressie from my daughter "SH" and "Z".

Well, thats it for now, i am off now to watch the rest of the film on TV "Superstorm"....you will find Astras Space on my side bar. As most of you know i still can't add graphics to this journal. Best Wishes to one and all.

Southend-On-Sea

Wednesday 11/4/07.

"?" came in about 9am. We had a cuppa and a rest before the kids arrived. "A" brought "ST" and "J" round at 9:30am. Once "A" had left at 10:30am, we gathered our belongings and off we set for Southend-On-Sea.

The drive there was pleasant and no traffic jams along the way. We arrived at 11:15am and easily found a place to park along the sea front.

We made our way along to Peter Pans Adventure park. Where the kids enjoyed  the rides and amusements and i took a couple of pics. "?" and i rested while the kids were on the rides.

A little later we all went get some chips and our drinks, then we went to the amusement arcades where the slot machines were and spent all the change i had saved since christmas.

When we came out of the arcades we went along the promenade to buy our ice-creams and sat on the wall over looking the beach and sea and taking in the fresh air. The weather was'nt to bad, it was sunny and warm.

After the kids had their ice-creams they wandered along the beach collecting shells and pebbles, while "?" and i walked along towards where the car was parked and we met the kids at the end of the beach where the steps were near the car.

We left Southend at 2:45pm. to once again to miss the traffic on the way home. We arrived home at 3:45pm.

The kids went off to play on the X-Box and the computer, while "?" and i had a cuppa and a rest as we were aching so much, even though we had plenty of stops to rest . "?" watched horse racing and i went to watch Rosemary and Thyme in my room.

We took "ST" and "J" home at 5pm. then came home. "?" left at 6:15pm. and i settled down to rest for a bit and watch TV. Then i decided to go online to write in my journal Astras Space and post some pics that i had taken today. you will find Astras Space on my side bar.

Today has been really lovely, the kids were good and we were all tired and "J" slept all the way home and "?" and myself had aches and pains, but we coped. we found everything was rather expensive.

Thursday 12/4/07.

I had a bad night and could'nt sleep with the aches and pains. This morning was worse still and i could hardly move with the pain. So, i got a hot water bottle and held it on the areas that was giving me pain to try to ease it and took pain killers. I did'nt do anything today.

This afternoon i felt better, so i finished off stitching my cardi together and knitted the neck band and started on the first front border this evening. I will leave the rest untill tomorrow now.

Easter Monday...Tuesday

Easter Monday 9/4/07.

I got a few chores done this morning, then "?" came in for a while then left. I scanned my computer while i had my dinner. "?" came back at 1:30pm. to watch the horse racing on TV and i went to my room to watch Midsommer Murders and got on with my knitting.

Later, when "?" left about 6pm. i came online for a short while to browse, then closed down the computer and went to bed.

Tuesday 10/4/07.

This morning when "?" came in he took me to get a few bits from the shop. Then we went to pick up "ST" for the day, but he did'nt feel like coming back to ours today. On the way home we dropped "?" brother "H's" repeat prescription into the Dr's surgery. The we came home.

When i got home i washed my net curtains, then "?" went out and i had a quite afternoon watching Midsommer Murders and finishing off the sleeve on my cardi and started to stitch it together, but i got fed-up with it as i hate sewing, so i will leave it to another day now.Once i've stitched it altogether, i've yet to knit the neck and borders and stitch the buttons on. It won't take long to finish it off really.

I phoned "A" this evening to let him know that we will be picking "ST" and "J" up at 10am. tomorrow. He said, he will fetch them round at 9:30am on his way out in the morning, which is better for us.We are taking the kids with us to Southend-On-Sea tomorrow. I do hope the weather will be ok. "Z" won't be coming with us, she has gone with "SH" to stay at "ASH" new house for the rest of the week at Maldern.

Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday

Friday 6/4/07.

This morning i got  a couple of light chores done. "?" came in around 10am. for an hour then left. I got a few more bits done while my dinner was on the go. After dinner i went online for a while to update my AOL journal, then i browsed the websites.

"?" came back about 5pm. so, i closed down my computer and settled to watch some TV. "?" left about 6:30pm. I settled to watch some TV. I went to bed early 8:45pm to watch TV and sat up knitting to around 10pm then i settled down for the night.

Saturday 7/4/07.

When "?" came in about 9am. He took me to get a few bits at the shop for the Easter Weekend. Then we went to pick "ST" up for the day. We all had a pleasant day together. "ST" and "?" were chatting about this and that and i got on with preparing for our dinner. After dinner "ST" was busy writting, later he went to play on his X-Box, "?" was watching the horse racing on the TV in the lounge as ussual and i went to my bedroom to watch a Biblical film on BBC2.

The afternoon soon passed by. "ST" decided to stay over. After "?" had gone out around 5:30pm. "ST" and i had our tea and settled down to watch Dr.Who, then we played cards for most of the evening. I went to bed to watch TV and a little later "ST" came to join me we watched "Back To The Future 2" i like all the films with Micheal J Fox in.Then "ST" went to his own room and i settled down for the night.

Sunday 8/4/07.

"?" came in around 10am. then left. After breakfast "ST" spent the morning writting and later on his X-Box. while i was preparing for dinner. We had pork chops in breadcrumbs with roast potatoes, brockley and sweetcorn. I also made a small apple crumble for desert for "ST" and myself and a small apple pie for "?" when he returns later. While dinner was on the go, i went to sit out the garden to relax with a cuppa for a few minutes.

Later after dinner and things had been put away, "ST" and i played cards for a while he's good, i think he must be cheating...lol. Then "ST" went on the computer and i settled down to watch TV and rest. I was even too tired to even do any knitting.

"?" came in about 5pm. He ate his pie that i had made him. "?" and "ST" played cards for a while while i watch "When Eight Bells Toll" with Anthony Hopkins, i did'nt get to see the end of the film as we had to take "ST" home at 6pm. Then "?" and i came back we had a cuppa then "?" left and i watched TV for an hour then came online.

So now,  i'm off to browse some journals and leave some comments. I will only be online for a short while. I think i might have an early night...Best wishes to you all and i hope your having a great Easter Weekend.

Day out at Hainault Forest,

Tuesday 3/4/07.

Not much has happened today, infact its been a quite day. I got a couple of light chores done, had dinner,then settled down with my knitting and watched some TV. Later, i went online for a short while in the evening. I phoned "A" to let him know that "?" and i will be picking him up tomorrow at10:30am. for the day.

Wednesday 4/4/07.

"?" took me to get some shopping this morning, i bought the grandchildrens Easter Eggswhile i was there. Then we went to pick "ST" up for the day. Later, "?", "ST" and myself went to the shops as we wanted to go to Wilkinsons to buy a couple of bits and pieces, then we went next door to the bakers to buy a cake for each of us. On the way to the car i went in the shoe shop and bought myself a pair of slippers that i was in need of. "ST" did'nt spend much of his money, he is saving it for next week when we go to the seaside. I think we will be going Wednesday as the weather forecast says its going to be a fair day.

Later when "?" had gone out and "ST" and i had our tea, "ST" went to play on his X-Box and i phoned "A" to let him know that we would be round to pick "J" up at 11:am tomorrow as we were taking all the grandchildren out. "A" shouted  out to "J" "are you going out with nanny and grandad tomorrow" she sounded so excited and came rushing to take the phone off "A". I could'nt understand her through all her excitement...lol. I think that was a yes...lol. Then i phoned "SH" to ask "Z" if she was coming with us, she said yes she was  and i told "SH" we would pick "Z" up tomorrow at 11:am. Then i settled down with my knitting and watched TV.

Thursday 5/4/07.

I did'nt go online last night, i just watched TV and got on with my knitting. This morning it was sunny, but  a bit chilly. We left "ST" indoors while we went to pick "J" and "Z" up at 11:am.  We came home to pick "ST" up and a few bits e wanted to take with us to "Hainalt Forest Country Park" where we went there last year.

When we arrived at the "H/country park" it felt a bit chilly, but soon warmed up. The kids were running about chasing each other all over the place. We went into the edge of the forest and around the lake and i took a couple of pics and a vidio on my digi camera. The kids had tired themselves out, although we had plenty of stops and starts "?" and i were both worn out.

We had spent a good 3 hours at the park and it was time to leave. To round off our day, we made a surprise on the spot visit to McDonalds on the way home.

Once we got home the kids went staight out to play in the back garden, while "?" and i had a cuppa and a rest untill we took the kids home at 5pm. along with their Easter Eggs.

We came back home. "?" left at 6pm amd i settled to watch some TV. i did'nt get any of my knitting done as i was aching and too tired and started to does off in the armchair, so i decided to go to bed about 9pm...We all had a good day out and the weather was lovely just like a summers day.

The forcast for next Wednesday looks good, if so we will be taking the grandchildren with us to the seaside.

Knit Wit...lol.

Sunday 1/4/07.

The day started off ok! About 10.30am. "?" came in for an hour and left. Then "ST" got up and i gave him his breakfast. I had Capitol Gold on-on the radio and was singing along with the songs while i got the dinner on the go and got some chores done while dinner was cooking and  "ST" went to my room on the computer after he had his breakfast.

Then i started getting niggly chest pains again. It was nearly time to dish the dinner up. The pains were getting stronger, but i got the dinner done and gave "ST" his dinner and put mine in the oven and left everything as it was (in a state) and went to my bedroom. "ST" did'nt know i was feeling bad at this stage.

It was deffinatley Hiatus Hernia and again i had'nt had anything to eat to have caused this, so it must be that i had over done it again...will i ever learn??? I called out to "ST" to get me a hot water bottle and the bucket as i felt so sick. This lasted for a couple of hours again the same as the other day. I watched some TV to try to take my mind off what was happening.

It was a dull uneasy pain ( niggly ) which eases and grows stronger and radiates from throat, to chest, to stomache and back to chest and so on, untill it subsides. It can start quickly and stops just as quickly.

Once the pains had stopped i then went to clear up the mess i had left in the kitchen, but i was careful not to over do anything. Then i rested and watched TV and done some knitting a little later. Later around 5pm. i had my dinner that i left in the oven.

About 5.30pm. "?" came in and we took "ST" home, we came home and "?" stayed for a short while and left. I did'nt tell him about the lovely day i had...lol. Later i went online for half hour then closed down to watch Bourne Identity on TV.

Monday 2/4/07.

This morning "?"and i were going to take the three grandchildren out for a couple of hours, but they were unable to go today, so we will take them out another day now, which was a shame as the weather has been really lovely today...still never mind!

I'm getting on well with my cardi, actually its called a lumber, but i call it a cardi. I've finished the back and two fronts. Now i'm half way up the first sleeve. It is worked in a cable stitch detail. Do you know, i had'nt done any knitting for such a long time and i did'nt realise how much i had missed knitting. I feel as though i've come alive again and i think will do something else when i've finished this one. It has taken me a long time to make this one, because i am a large size...

Well, i'm off now to try and catch up on the journals and comment as i hav'nt been online much lately. I hope you all have a good week...Best wishes to one and all.

Tuesday 27/3/07.

This morning "?" took me to get my eyes tested at the opticians and chose a new frame. The frames are not much different from what i already have, just a little bigger.

Later when i got home i got a few chores done then after dinner i settled to watch TV and got some knitting done. This evening i went online for a while.

Wednesday 28/3/07.

Not much happened today really. "A" popped in and out during the course of the day. I got a few things done while "?" cut the grass. I think it would have been nice if "A" could have help him as "?" always feel ill when hes finished cutting the grass.

Later after dinner i settled down with my knitting to watch MidSommer Murders and "?" went out and returned later for half hour then left and i went online for a short while in the evening, then closed down as i decided to watch TV.

Thursday 29/3/07.

This morning came in and took me to the shop to get some shopping. While i was out i started to get an uneasy niggly chest pain. When i got home the pains were stonger and was so i went to bed, the pains lasted roughly 2-3 hours. This was Hiatus Hernia. The pain comes on strong and stops just as quickly. I had'nt eaten anything, so i must have bent lower than my waist or over done it in some way for this to have happened.

Friday 30/3/07.

I did'nt do much today. Just dinner, watched some TV and done some of my knitting. "?" came in he sat and watched the horse racing onTV in the lounge and i went to my room to watch the rest of my programe.

I did'nt go online this evening, i watched TV and done my knitting.

Saturday 31/3/07.

"?" came in and he took me to get some shopping for the weekend, then we picked "ST" up for the day and on the way back i collected my new glasses from the opticians. We all had a good day and "ST" decided to stay over. After "?" left "ST" and i watched Dr.Who, then "ST" went to his room and played his X-Box games and i settledto watch TV and got on with my knitting.

Thats all for now. I am going to write Sundays and Mondays when i've posted this one...Best wishes!
